The V-Tech Extra-Wide Vehicle Lift Jacking Beam is purpose-built to handle modern, low-slung and wide vehicles — including electric vehicles (EVs) and performance cars. Its unique telescopic top beam stretches out to a remarkable 1,875 mm (to centre of pads) yet collapses down to a compact 790 mm, giving it the flexibility to adapt to a wide range of vehicle chassis widths. The low jacking height makes it ideal for “low-floored” cars, while the generous lift travel (260 mm) accommodates vehicles with larger suspension travel. Designed for use with 4-post lifts or inspection pits, this jacking beam makes under-vehicle maintenance, wheel and suspension work, and MOT-class inspections far easier and safer. Approved for MOT testing (Class 4 and Class 7), it meets the demands of modern workshops dealing with wide and heavy vehicles.
Extending top beam (790 mm – 1,875 mm) — adapts to a wide range of vehicle widths, from narrow sports cars to broad EVs or vans.
Low jacking position — perfect for low-clearance vehicles that standard jacks struggle to lift.
260 mm lift travel — plenty of lift for vehicles with large suspension travel or heavy duty suspension work.
Approved for MOT Class 4 & 7 testing — suitable for professional garages and MOT bays.
Safety features included: hose-burst valve, pressure-release valve to prevent overloading, finger guard compliant with European machinery directive, CE marking.
Automatic three-position mechanical locking — ensures a stable and safe working platform during extensive wheel or suspension work.
Quiet, integrated pump (air-jack models) — smoother, quieter operation and improved reliability for frequent use.
Supplied with roller flat or roller hook support arms — ready to fit with most lifts and pits; optional special arms available if needed.
