Description
The WL50LT/4 PG is a 5-tonne ATL scissor lift with integrated 3.5-tonne wheel-free lifting tables, created for MOT centres and workshops that need to test, inspect and repair a broad range of cars, vans and motorhomes. Manufactured in Italy, it combines long 5.2 m main platforms with hydraulic play detectors and recessed front positions for radius or turn plates. The specification makes it well suited to Class 4 and Class 7 ATL or OPTL projects, subject to the approved bay layout and vehicle weight limits.
The auxiliary lifting tables add valuable workshop capability. Once the vehicle is positioned on the main platforms, technicians can lift it by the designated body lifting points to free the wheels. This gives direct access for brake work, tyre replacement, suspension repairs, wheel bearing checks and other mechanical jobs without moving the vehicle to a separate ramp. For operators trying to increase output from a fixed number of bays, that flexibility can make a real commercial difference.
The lift is designed for recessed installation, leaving a clean, level approach when lowered and a clear working area around the vehicle. Hydraulic synchronisation controls both the main platforms and lifting tables, while overload valves, pressure-loss protection, 24 V hold-to-run controls and manual emergency lowering support safe operation. The WL50LT/4 PG is a strong fit for high-throughput MOT centres that want a heavy-duty test lane with added wheel-free repair capacity but do not require rear alignment slip plates.
