Description
The V-Tech WT40AT PG is a 4-tonne dual-revenue scissor lift for Class 4 MOT test centres that also want to offer wheel alignment services. Built in Italy, this 4.8 m recessed lift combines the core equipment required for an ATL or OPTL lane with alignment-ready platforms. Hydraulic play detectors support steering and suspension checks, while front recesses for radius or turn plates and rear slip plates prepare the vehicle for accurate wheel alignment work.
This version is aimed at garages that want the earning potential of MOT testing and alignment from one bay but do not need integrated wheel-free lifting tables. The long platforms support a broad range of cars and light commercial vehicles, and the 4,000 kg capacity provides a stable working platform for everyday test and service operations. When lowered into its recess, the lift keeps the workshop floor open and makes access easy for low-clearance vehicles.
Hydraulic synchronisation keeps the two platforms level throughout the lifting cycle, while the 2.1 m raised height gives technicians clear access underneath. Overload protection, pressure-loss safety valves, 24 V hold-to-run controls and manual emergency lowering are included in the manufacturer’s design. For MOT centres adding alignment as a new service, or workshops replacing an older four-post test lane with a more compact solution, the WT40AT PG provides a practical route to increased bay utilisation.
