Description
The WT40LT PG combines a 4-tonne Class 4 ATL scissor lift with integrated 3.5-tonne wheel-free lifting tables, giving MOT centres and general repair workshops more flexibility from a single recessed bay. Built in Italy, the lift supports vehicles by their wheels on 4.8 m platforms, while the auxiliary lifting tables raise the vehicle by its approved lifting points when technicians need the wheels free.
For MOT testing, the lift includes hydraulic play detectors and front recesses for radius or turn plates. These features support steering and suspension inspection within an ATL or OPTL layout. For workshop work, the wheel-free lifting function provides easier access to brakes, tyres, wheel bearings, steering and suspension components. It can reduce the need to move vehicles to another ramp after an MOT inspection, helping the bay earn revenue through both testing and repair work.
The recessed design leaves the platforms close to floor level when lowered, improving vehicle access and keeping the workshop tidy. Hydraulically synchronised platforms and lifting tables deliver controlled, level movement. The lift also includes overload protection, protection against sudden pressure loss, 24 V hold-to-run controls and manual emergency lowering. This is a strong choice for garages that want an ATL scissor lift with added service capability but do not require rear slip plates for wheel alignment.
